Biography
A waali jam! Originally from Massachusetts, I've been teaching since 2000. I love what I do. It's an honor and privilege to watch students grow and catch a glimpse into those "ah ha" moments that resonate with authenticity and make people shine. My background is in British women writers and the environmental tradition. I'm a Romanticist at the core. And, I love teaching a variety of other topics, such as World and non-Western literatures, ecocriticism, Gothic literature, African literatures, Shakespeare, Restoration and Augustan literature, fairy tales, environmental studies, liberal arts, and much more.
When I'm not teaching or grading papers, I'm usually exploring a new trail, ascending a much-cherished peak, camping, paddling, biking, reading, binging on Netflix, or chilling in good company with friends and colleagues.
